About Me

Hello everyone, and thank you so much for reading my blog!

My name is Katlyn. I am the wife of the most wonderful man in the whole world. I know that people say stuff like that all the time. I also know that every single one of them believes it to be true. But, I have never in my life met anyone quite like my hubby. He is the only person I have ever know who truly knows that he is alive. And he has really opened my eyes to the fact that I am as well. He knows that he has something that no other creature in the universe possesses. Something that no planet or star or sun in the entire cosmos can ever have. It is a gift given only to mankind. Consciousness. The ability to know that you are alive and that there is a Master Creator behind everything. The gift of being able to find your place in this existence. It is a wonderful gift to have, and it is only through him that I was able to appreciate that.

I am also the mother of three wonderful little angels.

My oldest son, who I will always refer to as "Ewie" (pronounced eewee) is 10 years old. He used to be diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, but since they have re-classified him, he is now just Autistic. He is high functioning, but has some social issues. He is very sensitive to sights, sounds, and smells. He doesn't like change at all. But all in all, he is a great kid. He is very loving and kind and once you get use to his unusual ways, he is really fun to be around.

My middle son, "Baby Bruver" is 7 years old. He is a super brat. I say that in the most loving way. He is very sweet and way too smart for his own good! He is currently a full year ahead of his peers in school, and because I homeschool them all, he will continue to pass them all by. He wants to be in college by the time he's 12. lol. I know that is a bit of a stretch, but as long as he is willing to put in the work, I am willing to help him in any way I possibly can.

My youngest, Danny, is the sweetest angel you could ever meet. He was born prematurely and lost oxygen during delivery. Several areas of his brain died because of this and he was later diagnosed with Periventricular Leukomalacia. At first, his body was really limp, but then it started tightening up and kept going until he was too tight and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy as well. Developmentally, he is about 18 months old. He is unable to walk. But, don't feel bad for him or for us. We are so incredibly happy to have him. He is a joy and a blessing and we love him dearly. He is the most loving and happy child on the planet.

As for me, when I am not playing super-mom, I try to take care of myself a little bit. I have Parkinson's Disease as well as Arthritis in my neck, and two fused discs in my back. I recently had some surgery done to help relieve some of the pressure, and I am doing pretty well, so I can't complain. With my med coctails I take all day, I function pretty normally, and I am very thankful for that!

So, there you have it. Now you know all about me, and I hope that you enjoy reading my opinions of the world around us. Thank you again for coming!!!
